I went on the website above looking to purchase a Boston terrier puppy. I found one I adored “Layla” was her name. By her picture it said contact to as questions, which I did. The next morning I received an email from the person stating that the puppy was 500.00 and if I wanted her I should send her the funds through Zelle. She claims she’s in Texas. I told her I could not come to Texas and she replied that the courier she uses gave her two free coupons to ship the dog to my door free of charge. I told her my bank is not accepted on Zelle. She then told me to go to a cvs and purchase a 500.00 gift card to either Walmart or eBay, activate it and scratch off the code on the back of the gift card. Then send her a clear pic of the receipt and the code and she would make arrangements to ship me the puppy. I then told her I was not comfortable doing that as I would have no receipt that I paid for the puppy and was leery. I suggested sending me the puppy COD, as she said her courier would deliver the dog to my door. She said no, either gift card or Zelle. I feel this is a scammer. Have all the emails back and forth. She finally told me her name was Bande Joel; if that’s even real.
