Received an invoice from TM-DB for a "Register of Protected Trademarks" providing a service to "provide the name of trademark owners and product names on the Internet". It really has nothing to do with USPTO or registration of our marks but the invoice is made out to look like it is an official invoice from USPTO. Attached is an excerpt of the official looking invoice except that it would include your patent name under Registered Mark and the USPTO Registration # by its field. They are using public information to sell a product that has nothing to do with patent registrations.

Attempted to collect money on fake invoice for registration of trademark of logo in the amount of almost $1,000.00.

Requested check be sent to renew registration of logo to their address.

Trademark-DB Corp sent the attached solicitation with an invoice for $994 to register my protected trademark for my company Vantage Point Strategies for two years. This document implies that a valuable and necessary service is being provided to me; however, this is quite clearly a scam.
