I want to warn everyone about a scam involving TradeTransportation Company, LTD. Matthew Braun and Helena Jonas, who claim they represent TradeTransportation Company, LTD offer false hopes to people who are trying to make a better life for themselves. Offering a salary of $80,000-$100,000, plus bonuses for a project manager position and a schedule of Monday – Friday from 9-5 is the carrot. After the probationary period, I would receive $1,500 for completing their training, with the opportunity to double the amount with high scores and part time work. After sending me transportation information and project management materials everyday, offering positive feedback whenever I passed their tests, they offered me part time work. After stating that they would pay off my credit card balance using company funds, they attempted to get me to use my own personal funds to purchase laptops for shipment overseas. Later, they would cancel the transfer from the company funds, so that I was stuck with the purchase of the laptops along with the previous balance on my credit card. The same exact thing happened to someone in Seattle and can be found in the ScamPulse.com scam tracker. I did not use my credit card. The transportation material was taken from the 2013 Fed Ex Express Terms and Conditions for US shipments and the project management materials came from the book Beginning Project Management. Copyright rules were broken in each of these incidents. My main purpose in providing this information is to prevent anyone else from getting involved in this scam..
