ToysHouseTM Reports & Reviews (2)

I have attempted to purchase a legos item from a company called Laycouture on facebook. To date I have not received nothing although they received $49.34. I am unable to get my money back. I'd like to warn everyone

- San Antonio, TX, USA

I saw a sponsored advertisement on Facebook for a 3-day Lego sale at 80% off. Clicking on the ad takes you to the website: https://ca.brickshouse.shop/?rel=www&fb_id=715230669038404&fbclid=IwAR14... (which was removed on 8.29.2020). The page looks exactly like a website currently up:

https://vip.bricksmaster.cc/index.php?main_page=index&fbclid=IwAR1xoRU1Cfbjz... />
I selected the 5 items: Star Wars Millennium Falcon 75192,1,34.99,MinecraY The Mountain Cave 21137,1,22.29,Star Wars DeathStar 75159,1,37.99,Super Heroes Batman Classic TV Series - Batcave 76052,1,28.99

Totaling $124.26.

I entered my credit card information, address, phone, and when I tried to submit received an error message that my card could not be processed. I tried again to see if I had entered the wrong numbers, and my orders duplicated as if I had placed 6 orders of the same items for $124.26 each. As I was trying to delete my information, one of the orders went through. I became suspicious.

I went back to the Facebook advertisement and opened the comments section where there were numerous warnings that this was a scam.

I tried to reach my credit card company and over the next two hours managed to cancel my card.

I received an email from [email protected] stating Due to the foreign exchange rate, the amount displayed on your statement might be a little bit different from the real price.

"Please note "LAYCOUTURE" will be displayed on your credit card statement instead of the website from which you purchased the mentioned product. It's just used for sending bill statement by the seller's payment processor as a tool" followed by two emails from service8 with additional excuses. I did some research and found this website describing the fraud experiences of other customers with the merchant ToysHouseTM-Brick Toys: https://www.facebook.com/LEGO/posts/i-have-found-another-fake-site-httpswwwhonos... />
The seller charged $130.26 to my credit card. I am disputing the charge. While the charge was still pending, I did respond to their email on August 28 stating that I was canceling my order and expected a refund of $130.00 immediately. The charge went through. This evening service8 sent an email stating:

"Dear customer,

Sorry to hear that you want to cancel the order.

Would you mind telling us why you want to cancel this order?

We are trying to intercept your order cause we have shipped it to you, we are not sure that can be intercepted.

We need to ask the express company to check and confirm.

Best regards,"

My expectations would be similar to the customers on the Facebook page who received a wrong item such as sunglasses or a hat instead of the Lego sets that they purchased. These scammers, ToysHouseTM, should be investigated and charged with false advertising and criminal behavior. The initial Facebook advertisement had been shared 250 times. They are making a killing in Lego sales of merchandise that they never deliver.

I have received no package from them, nor expect to.
