Went to Toy Poodles for sale on Facebook. Seemed legit. Sent pics and I requested a video for further proof. Sent a transfer of owner contract and I sent $200 as a deposit with the understanding that when the dog arrived I would pay the balance.

I even got a shipping confirmation w tracking number. Still looked legit. Until I got and email from the shipping company asking me to pay a refundable fee for COVID and vaccine shots and a special kind of carrier. When I texted the person about it this was his response: The delivery service explained to us that the puppy need a cage before he can travel They have refundable cage and non refundable cage so we will advise you to take the refundable cage so that as soon as you receive your puppy at your door step the delivery service will refund you your money Please try and understand with us and we promise you will receive your puppy puppy

I responded with I was taking ever action possible to expose them as a fraud. I also sent a request for them to return my 200 the same way I sent it to them via Zelle. No response as of yet.

I was trying to buy a poodle dog. The person reached out to me through email and through text message. They asked for payment after the puppy was shipped. They used a pet shipping "business" which is called "americanpetsmovers.com" which was also part of the scam. They sent a confirmation and page that look legitimate but a day later was saying my puppy cant be fully delivered because i needed to buy pet insurance. The cost was about 950$ which i didnt pay because it sounded suspicious. Now I never got the puppy and lost a lot of money.
