Payments made for puppy through Zelle and I was starting to get suspicious and checking websites for duplicate puppy photo, did a search scan on the mobile number if fraud, but nothing came up reported as fraud. Puppy was supposedly dropped off for shipping the next day and then crate fees were required by the shipping company paid by OneVanilla Gift Cards. Shipping company did not have correct delivery date on tracking info (off one whole month later), I questioned, they corrected, but no puppy 2 days later and shipping company did not have update on tracking so more suspicion. I should have stopped there, but then was asked to pay for pet insurance for flight to be paid by OneVanilla Gift Cards. Then the lightbulb turned on after all this $$ going out, that a legit company would not be asking for cash with all this and quoting full refund for crate and pet insurance after delivery in cash. No one will be driving around with kind of cash to refund.

I then called OneVanilla to find out where the gift cards had been used and it was a full blown scam!!

This business was unable to send me a video or picture with a sign with today’s date next to the puppy. He wanted a $400 deposit. His excuse was that he had a flip phone.
