On April 13, 2023 I was in a car accident in Anaheim. I called Five Star Towing to tow near my house. They said they had to tow to Anaheim location at BA Towing. Car was towed April 14, 2023 to BA Towing. April 21, 2023 BA Towing told me the adjusters from The General Insurance came out or called them and stated they offered me $4500 for parking and $5800 total loss for my vehicle. They asked me for about $2000 and my pink slip. April 22, 2023 I went to go check my car and the trunk was broken open and contents taken out and the back window smashed. Possibly I have a battery charger stolen. I told them I can’t give my pink slip and only paid $680 in cash for 8 days parking. April 24, 2023 I had a bad feeling and I went back to BA Towing to move my car- battery wouldn’t start which was weird cause it worked April 14, 2023 when they towed away. Apon inspection of Five Star Towing and BA Towing online- many complaints from people about stolen stuff, money scam, car battery not working, broken windows.
