I was contacted in October 2022,by a representative of this timeshare organization and was informed that a couple wanted to purchase my timeshare week. The couple were living in Dominican Republic and would pay. $34,000. I was sent a contract and a copy of his validated deposited check in the amount of $5000. I was then instructed to pay legal fees of $1300 (October 26,2022 this amount was wired)to finalize the legal documents and title search of my timeshare. Closing was to take place within 10 days. On October 29th, I was informed that I must pay an 8% sales tax ($2,720 of $34,000) to the Dominican Republic; and, I would be reimbursed this amount. This was done in good faith. Next, came a telephone instruction that I needed to wire to Dominican Republic a currency exchange fee in the amount of $1,250, and then the closing could be finalized. I wired the amount required with the expectation, as promised, of the closing within 24-48 hours. The $1,250 was wired to Dominican Republic on November 12, 2021. On November 16th, I was called and instructed that I now needed to wire $900 to Dominican Republic to have the monies wired to my bank account. It was at this point that I refused to wire any more money AND requested a refund of all monies already paid out. I was informed that it would be 90 days before I would receive my full refund of money I had paid. As of March 1, 2022, I have not received any money and My phone calls are not being returned. The names of the management that I have had contact with during this whole ordeal: George Diaz, Nicholas Martin, Scott Richardson, Dave Arden.
