I was getting gasoline and a newer model Mercedes SUV pulls up beside me asking for help. He went on to say he’s visiting from Dubai and his billfold wallet with passport and all credit cards was lost or stolen. He said he needed money for food for his family, gas money to get to the embassy in nyc. He offered me some gold jewelry rings and a bracelet he was wearing, and was begging me to help him and his family. I agreed to hold on to the jewelry in enchange for whatever cash I had on me.
