Person was hired to remove a tree and cut other branches. He said he was coming back the next day, and continued to postpone to the next day. He continued to postpone service the rest of that initial week. He has since ceased to return my phone call. To have my deposit returned to me $500.

Rodney Jameson came to my home door and stated he was with Total Tree & Landscape Design, and he noticed that I had 2 dead trees in my front yard and that the one next to my house was considered an emergency because if it fell it would fall into the street and possibly injure someone. He looked at the trees and gave me a quote of $1800. I said that was too high, he then quoted $1200. I stated that was too high so he quoted $900.. I said that was acceptable. He wrote a "contract" and asked for 1/2 payment upfront and the other half when the job was done. So I wrote a check for 450.00 to Gale Benedict. We agreed that the tree would be taken down the next day at 1:30 PM. He arrived at 1:45 and said he needed 200. cash to get the ropes and cones and didn't have time to go to his bank so would I give him 200. cash and he would be right back. I agreed. I went to the ATM got 200 cash and met him at another house where he was " doing another job" and gave him the cash. He said he would be at my house within the hour. I haven't seen him since. He knows that I am disables and my husband I are on a very fixed income He does not answer his phone when I call. He has responded to some texts were I am demanding my money back. **I asked if he was registered with the ScamPulse.com and he said he was number 5 in Colorado and Texas"" This happened in Fountain, Colorado
