Used Total AV for quite a while. Seemed to work OK. But I realized it didn't update to newer versions. So I went to support. I eventually let them on to my computer to fix the issue. BIG MISTAKE! I didn't notice anything nefarious going on, but somewhere in the background they must have done something. Or the program itself was collecting information along the way. I don't know which.

WARNING: After they went on all my email Passwords were stolen and they tried to get a Transfer PIN for my phone. I think I stayed ahead of their game and stopped what could have been a total cleaning out of all my accounts. They were after taking control of ALL my passwords.

I didn't know who to tell about this so I'm posting this here. I have completely removed the program, but please do not install Total AV. These are some clever hackers.

@ 4:30 cost i got a alert from my bank that $8.99 was deducted from my account on the correct date , but at 9:30 p.m. from total av. Ive never heard of total av much less at 9:30 p.m. it was only@ 4:30 p.m.I called the bank, they gave me a number to call which I did. Could barely understand the person I was talking to, a lot of static plus a person who barely spoke English.

She did say they would refund me, but how did this happen?

Now I have to close my card, pay a $5.00 fee for a new one.

This makes no sense, especially the time frame.

I researched total av, and their a anti virus for your software. But how they got my info is amazing.

If this is how they conduct their business, they need shutdown. If I hadn't have had bank alerts setup on my phone, I probably would have never caught their little scam.

Constant texts and emails. Saying I have an account and the top line is Your payment failed. I repeatedly block them, on all platforms and they keep harassing me. I think it's obvious once you get them in the phone that they are a scam.

I received a charge to my checking account and when I called they asked only for my personal information and tried to get my checking information. When I asked for a supervisor I was told none were available and asked again for banking info.
