I received a text message stating “[name], we came across a parcel from June owed to you. Please assume ownership and confirm for delivery here: l1smc.info/i4EuBwxVHh” I knew it was spam, but I clicked on the link anyway because I was curious. Stupid, I know. The link took me to a website survey - https://rewardsprogram.daysnewpric.com/uskt2/isp/index2.php?clickid=1598330766.4...⇄ There wasn’t a company associated with the survey, just “Total Access Network” on the page. It was a simple survey, maybe 6 questions. At the completion of the survey, there was a choice of a free prize: iPhone 11, smart watch health tracker, car rear view camera, high-end purses, and several others. All items were “free” but once you made your selection, you had to put in your personal info (name, address, phone number, email) and credit card info. There was a legit-looking “terms and conditions” and a “privacy policy” links. In the terms and conditions, it said the credit card entered would be charged $4.95 for shipping, then $19.73 (once) and then $14.44 once per week for 6 weeks. It was a pretty good scam, but thankfully I knew it was from the beginning text. I feel bad for the people who think this is real because in total a person scammed by this groups could be out more than $100.
