THEY GOT PAID I GOT SCEWED

PAID $79 FOR CRAB LEGS ON JAN 11 ITS NOW FEB 11, NO DEKIVERY. I HAVE SENT MANY RMAILS BUT NONE WERE ANWSRED. I GUESS TOO GOOD OF A DEAL IS NOT VERY GOOD WHEN YOU GET SCAMMED

After going through through various health crisis including bone marrow transplant for Cancer I thought I would treat myself With of my favorite seafood. Sadly I began to realize I had been taken. I'm out $75And so angryThat A company can rob people of their hard earned money They need to be prosecuted .

Torresta ads were demonstrated on Facebook advertising King Crab legs at a good price. Going to their website you discovered reputable firms (****** ********* ********* *******, etc...) listed as the fulfillment agents for the purchases. I decided to make a purchase and I used payPal as added protection. I never heard from the merchant so I sent two inquiries requesting shipment dates as this was a delivery of perishable foods and a tracking number. I never heard back so I followed up indicating I would be canceling the order.

I filed a complaint on PayPal and they immediately reached out to t he merchant who in turn immediately responded with a receipt of delivery. PayPal shared this receipt with me of which was to an unknown address. PayPal indicated I should contact UPS. I did.

UPS indicated that they delivered the package, in person, to the address that was provided to them by the merchant and I should contact the merchant. I tried again to no avail.

I went back to PayPal and UPS and even Facebook but no one would assume responsibility of accountability.

I contacted both ****** ******** and ********* ******* both of whom wrote back to me indicating they did not have a relationship with Torresta and in fact this is a scam website.

My last attempt in getting my money back is I am working with Chase, my CC bank and they are considering it.

This experience taught me about the cracks between the internet supply chain and in fact it can be gamed very easily. They all point their finger at the other guy and unfortunately the consumer pays the price. Luckily it's not a great deal of money but it is the principle.
