Message to the previous commentator: I was approached by the same company with the same details. Thanks to your detailed comment I was able to compare the offer to yours, it was the same only that they added that using my bank account would prove my loyalty to the company (one that has not proven its worth to me yet), so that raised another red flag. So, thank you again!

Torex Freight Systems offered a full time job on Zip Recruiter for $28/hr for a home-based Payment Manager. I used Zip Recruiter to apply to the job online and included my resume. I received two phone calls regarding a telephone interview but couldn't answer the phone. They didn't leave a message which was my second clue that the job wasn't valid. I then tried to call them back but the phone disconnected automatically. When the interviewer did finally call she asked a few questions regarding my previous employment and then informed me that I needed to use my personal banking account to process payments for the company for the first 10 days. I told her that it was irresponsible for them to ask for me to use my personal bank account for a business that I didn't know was legitimate or not. She also asked if I had a car or not which is unrelated to a home-based job. I told her that I was not interested in the position and thanked her.
