My family and I were looking to purchase a new puppy. We came across Desmonds website. It seemed to check out so I emailed in about an inquiry. It took him about two days to get back to me about the puppy named Lorna that we were interested in. He said they were a family breeding company in Seattle Washington. He gave me the basic information about the pup how old she was what the process would be to get the dog and so forth. I asked to see a video of the pup just to make sure it was real and he emailed me a video of the actual puppy. So I decided to move forward he was only going to charge us $1500 for the puppy free of charge. I was still a little spectacle about it so I told him I would do half of the payment now and half of it when I receive the puppy and he said it was fine. He gave me a link on how to make the payment which was either zelle, cash app or Bitcoin. So after I made the payment he sent me a link to sign the contract and I signed it. After I signed it he said he was working on the paper work and it was going to 7-8 hrs to process everything and to ship the puppy. Well that’s when I started to get really scared because the website said 4-5 hrs after a few hours passed he told me that he didn’t get to finish the paper work and he will reach back out to me in the morning the next day. So I asked if there was a number to call and I called and before he said anything I heard a beep when he answered we had a conversation I asked when should I expect to receive my puppy and he said I’ll let you know in the morning after I’m done with everything. I also asked him what airlines will the dog be flying in on and he was very hesitant saying I’ll let you know in the morning. Then he proceeded to say that it depends on what airlines. I was telling him that I was feeling unsure because the whole process seemed very suspicious because he didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing. He told me to calm down that he was a family man and how dare I question him like that so I apologized and said I will be waiting for him to reach out the next day. Well after we got off the phone maybe an hour later he texted my husband not knowing that this was my husband, because we both inquired about the dog because we really wanted it, he texted my husband and was trying to sell him the same puppy Lorna that I had just paid for saying that the puppy was still available and trying to get him to pay us. I reached out to him to see what was going on that he jus tried to sell a puppy I paid for to someone else even though it was my husband. He never answered the phone and the number was no longer in service I never heard back from him about the dog
