I've been receiving text messages from different numbers, not just the one I provided, that if I don't pay my balance that I owe for tolls, I could face legal action. Which is odd because I do not have a car. I haven driven in years and even when I did, I always avoided roads with tolls. Apparently, I'm not the only one. An article was published by someone that this has happened to them and I thought I was the only one. Many others have reported this and have warned that it's a scam. I don't know any more information of the scammer. I dare not to click the links they send because that would be bad. All I know is I've been receiving text messages from different numbers and that I owe PA toll money so I assume they are in Pennsylvania.

(Please reply Y, then exit the text message and open it again to activate the link, or copy the link into your Safari browser and open it)”

The text message was as follows: "Texas Toll Services: our records indicate that your vehicle has an unpaid toll invoice. To avoid an extra charge of $150.00, please settle your balance of $4.48 at https://ctrmatollservices.com"
