I was scammed by the toddshop on line company out of a back massager and or money. I purchased through PayPal and they did investigate stating I was sent product when I never got it. PayPal closed the case but I keep finding others that got scammed too. Do not buy from this company.

I responded to a Facebook add that advertised a child waterslide for 45$. It seemed legitamate and there were thousands of comments and respondants to the ad. I initiated the purchase on June 1 and the payment was processed by PayPal. I got an email confirmation of the order. After a month of no product or contact, I searched on the site (which has since been taken down) and found their email address with a hotmail domain (I became suspicious). After several emails imploring some type of response, I finally got an email from "Mary", from China advising that they apologized for any inconvenience and would ship the product. After over a month and several additional emails on my part, I got a package from China with a crackerjack ring in a blue box. I reached out to them again, they asked me for a picture of the product and the packaging with the address. That too made me suspicious. During these months, I have also been calling PayPal and have still to date not been able to get someone as I hold them jointly responsible because they need to ensure that people who use their services are legitimate.

After several emails from me I was told that I should sell the worthless ring and accept that as partial refund. I honestly dont think the ring was from Toddshop as that was not a product advertised on their site and it came around the same time when there were several people reporting random packages being received from China. I have demanded full refund several times to no avail. Again, i hold PayPal jointly responsible because they have partnered with illegitamate enterprises that fleece consumers. Just like how Amazon has certain checks and balances in place to validate and be accountable for irresponsible vendor actions, so should PayPal. PayPal could learn from Amazon's best business practices.

Suffice it to say that it is now almost October and I have gotten neither my money back nor a product.
