I was contacted by someone pretending to be Toby Keith. He told me I was chosen to receive 1.3 million dollars and a brand new 2021 f150. After telling me that he would personally deliver my prizes he then proceeded to tell me I would have to send $488.33 to claim my prize but it would be refunded 2-3 days after I sent it. At that point I realized it was a scam

This person contacted me through TikTok and posed as Toby Keith. We had a conversation through Messaging, all seemed innocent enough until they mentioned that I won a Cashier's check for $1.3 million dollars, a brand new Ford pickup truck, a couple of hoodies, and an opportunity to spend some time with Toby Keith himself. I was very skeptical and made sure he knew that. He ended up calling and we had a conversation. I was researching the prize giveaway and they even had a website made for this.I have snapshots saved of our conversation.The number they called from was 1-508-952-4300

This person contacted me through TikTok and posed as Toby Keith. We had a conversation through Direct Messaging, all seemed innocent enough until they mentioned that I won a Cashier's check for $1.3 million dollars, a brand new Ford pickup truck, a couple of hoodies, and an opportunity to spend some time with Toby Keith himself. I was very skeptical and made sure he knew that. He ended up calling and we had a conversation. I was researching the prize giveaway and they even had a website made for this. They wanted $1,500 upfront in order to claim the prize but that money would be given back to us. We contacted The Toby Keith Foundation and asked, it is a scam. Please do not fall for this. His name was David Fletcher and the phone number that he called from was 1.580.262.8011
