I work as a dancer and was contacted about an upcoming show that I had already been booked for. The scammer informed me that they'd be booking my room and shoot for me but required a deposit. I still have the text message exchange. I told them that out of all the shows I've had, I've never had to make a deposit. I was told that if I didn't pay now, my agency would be contacted and I'd be dropped from the show immediately regardless of contract and that I wouldn't be able to work the event again.
