This shop gave a nearly $6700 quote for auto repairs which I was ok with. The main concern was the truck was running hot. I was told I needed to replace the thermostat and radiator and I also requested brakes, rotors, and tune up. There was no mechanic available for 3 days after my truck sat with no work done. Then all of a sudden I was told their 80 year old mechanic was hospitalized. Then I was told O2 sensors were changed because they needed it and no one called to discuss or get my approval, just added to the bill. My truck was towed to the shop Monday evening, Oct. 2nd. An entire week passed and the following Wednesday Oct. 11th I went to the shop and was told repairs were about 80% complete and they demanded half of the $6700 because of the bill being so high (mind you I inadvertently stopped by to check on my truck, no-one had mentioned anything about a deposit). I agreed to pay $3600 only because I was assured repairs would be done by the end of that day. Next day, Thursdayl I stopped by the shop to fine my vehicle was torn apart into a thousand pieces strewn all over the shop floor, so this means that repairs were not complete as promised. I got upset and some words were exchanged next thing police were called and I was sited for trespassing. These people were holding my truck at the shop and did not want me on their property because they got caught and busted in their lies and false promises. Also, found out there is no company policy that requires half down payment, so I was misled and lied about that as well. Also, this shop has no accredited or certified mechanics. There is one guy working and I never met this "80 Year old" that was supposedly the mechanic. I called and emailed corporate office and they never responded. However, they did contact the store manager, Dave and told him to put my truck back together, not do any work and return it to me. Fast forward 10 days later, Friday Oct. 13th I had to have my car towed back to my house still running hot and inoperable. I had to pay a balance of $430 to release my truck; the tow cost me an additional $135 and by the way I had to rent a car, so I was not without transportation this entire time. I had to keep extending my rental because I was given several days as to when my truck would be ready. Ultimately, I ended up returning the vehicle today, Oct. 16th, meaning I had the car 2 full weeks, costing me another $2000. I also had to go ahead an purchase another vehicle because I knew that after returning the rental I would be stranded with no transportation. I was insulted, disrespected, lied to, humiliated with police and still did not get what I asked for or paid for. I am not even sure all the repairs they "claimed" to have made were done or completed correctly, especially since there are no creditable mechanics working there. Only a shade tree, a shop manager and an "assistant" who does nothing but answer the phones. I want this shop reprimanded and exposed for their unprofessional practices.
