I had listed an item on Facebook marketplace. The scammer reached out to me pretending to be a woman who had a sister that needed the table told me what time she would be available to pick it up. Then continue to you get my payment information. Afterwards said that the money had been sent but they had sent it as a business transaction therefore I could not receive the money until I sent them a deposit which I would receive back. It was just to make sure that I did not steal their money. They sent me an email a fake one from Zelle Pay. Once received it instructions on how to pay them. Then I received a confirmation email saying that the payment was being verified. Then I got another email saying I needed to pay the agent $350. If I did not pay the agent then it was considered fraud and I could potentially go to jail.
