So I was trying to make an order of a self-defense keychain bundle from TikTok, and then the seller vendor said I had to pay a fee to cancel my order because it was too much for me. Then I started getting random requests to constantly send payments to cancel my order, and once I figured out what was going on, I went to my financial institution yesterday and I had them shut my card down. I got a new card and everything that I was sending, I was sending it through Apple Pay. And I didn’t know that when you order something it comes from out of the country and I didn’t love their bar fees for cancellation orders, and they were requesting a lot of money from 500 to 200 250 to 487 to 1250. Messing up my account and when I went to my financial touch yesterday, they said it sounds like I’m being scammed, because no one is going to threaten you about jail if you refuse to pay a cancellation order fee. So I have been sending money yesterday so I can get the cancellation order completed and they said they were going to send me a document to my email to sign and be done with it, and go on with my life because they are threatening to harm my family and take my daughter, and they said I know you don’t want that to happen because you’re a good mother. That’s 1250 that they wanted. I tried to send it through Cash app and it wouldn’t go through. It declined it and now I know why it declined it for a reason then I get a text message this morning saying good morning. I hope you have a nice sleep and to calm my financial institution to see if they can increase my limit for me again so that they can get their payment for the cancellation fee and go on with my life. I definitely feel like I’m being scammed because now they trying to scare me saying if I keep blocking all these numbers, then they’ll have someone to show up to my door with the police. When I canceled my order, the person sent me a picture of them stuck in traffic with customs, checking things and they said it’s my fault, when they’re trying to get their items to their clients and that they were stuck in traffic. I feel like the photo was Photoshop too and this is why I’m reporting and I want them to stop harassing me and threatening me so I’m trying to come up with a solution. I am 43 and this very overwhelming and stressful and I want to get this taken care of so I can go on with my life and not have to look over my shoulder. I already have a new debit card for my financial institution told me I have to wait for the transactions to post to my account so I can file a dispute with them because they were done through Apple Pay and the other one was CashApp. I don’t plan on getting nothing else from TikTok, because I definitely learned my lesson. And when I was sending the money, there were different phone numbers and different emails as well. I would like to report this. Also the email that I tried to put down is stating that the email address is the scammer. I’m not the scammer because, I’m actually the target of the scam. I am the victim so I’m not sure why they’re using my email address as the scammer because I’m not the scammer that’s another red flag. Their using my email address which is ********************** as the scammer, when I am not a scammer, I am the target of the scam! They also have my address because I I tried to purchase the order, and I ended up canceling it. And now I’m trying to cancel it because I am being scammed myself. Please I need help with this.
