Tidal Posh Kennels Reports & Reviews (1)

*They said they were from Springfield IL, but only after I said where I was located (nowhere near there), and the website has no mention of location. I put the email address she was mailing me with, but she gave me a second email when asking me to pay through Zelle: [email protected], with the name Aliza Mojica. That was also the only time she gave me a name.

The website is selling Boxer puppies. I used the "Contact Us" page to inquire about several puppies, and quickly received a long email response asking me to fill out a questionnaire and giving information on why it was so cheap (because they are expecting another litter soon). Also said that shipping usually costs $100, but they have free coupons available so it is no extra cost. The "shipping" is someone flying coach with the puppy to drop them off. This was my first red flag, as I know it costs much more than $100 to fly from IL to CA, and the phrasing of "coupons" rather than airline miles didn't make sense.

I responded with the questionnaire filled out and asked for pictures of the sire and dam.

They sent a couple pictures and a long email about the sale process and shipping, asking me to fill out another questionnaire, this about the sale rather than asking why I want a dog.

I responded with my information for the sale documents, including all my contact information, and asked for more information about the sire and dam, and what other puppies are available as there were lots on the website. The response was the opposite of the previous emails, and was very short stating that they are all reserved and I need to put down $300 now to keep Armando. I said I can do that along with the sale and purchase agreement. I had not received an answer about the backgrounds of the doggy parents.

The next email was long again, including the Zelle information and contract attachment. Looking at the contract, and it having no sign of AKC registration numbers or transfer of that paperwork, I decided there were enough red flags that it was a scam. I requested to see his papers and do a facetime with him, saying that if they did not call me to facetime then I understand it as a scam.

The response was, "No problem, I understand. But we can't send a copy to you. Once you become the new owner of the puppy then you can have access to everything thank you" No mention of my request to facetime.

I do not expect to hear from them again.
