I called ticketmaster for tickets for a concert. The person stated that the website/app was having issues and wouldnt take credit or debit payment and i had to pay by gift card (should have known better at this point!) The person said they would stay on the phone with me so i could go to the store and buy a gift card. I couldnt leave my house so i said i would do it online. I ended up purchasing 5 x $100 gift cards from target.com. As time went on i realized i was being scammed. While I was on the phone with him, I called target and explained the situation. They saw the purchases had already happened and the gift cards were used within minutes. They filed a police report and a claim.

And then they told me they would resolve the case within 7 to 10 business days. I then called my credit card company and explained the situation, and they also filed a dispute pending investigation. I oviously dont trust calling ticketmaster directly to file a complaint so i am writing one here.

I purchased tickets for a concert for my wife for Christmas, I was unable to access the email account a “Tech “ person told me that I had to make a payment of $260 payment then more and more for a total of 1600 in target gift cards from CVS and Walgreens and wanted 1000 more for Hacker removal from my computer and telephone. We had to go by 8 pm after 6 hours of recreating a google account with my birth date and year. My wife was trying to stop me from continuing on and he wanted to continue a call the next day and has been calling all day but I couldn’t and didn’t answer the phone. My wife said we just got scammed for our money . She was right.
