I called a number that was listed as ticketmaster to receive a refund. They company answered the phone as ticketmaster. I advised the foreign caller that I wanted a refund for a concert that was canceled. The caller advised no worries. They asked me to go to my playstore and download an app that would help them better help me. I did as I was told. I advised I didn't have the card I originally purchased the tickets with and they said no worries we can do it via cash app. I was like okay great. So I went to cash app and he ran me through a lot of things I've never done before. He said this is a dummy transaction so they could get the refund back into my account I said okay great. He said add 348.00 to my cash app and I was like that's not how I paid he said he knows they just throw out an amount it doesn't matter because it's a dummy transaction. I was iffy but I went to my bank account and seen the pending transaction for ticketmaster so I agreed to do as I was told. The next day the cash app came out my account so I contacted my bank and cash app and been waiting to hear back from cash app who said it's still under investigation. I called the number today and the place is still answering as ticketmaster. I just want my money back because 348.00 is a lot of money to be losing.
