I went online to buy theater tickets. I typed in the theater name in my search engine and Ticket-center popped up. I purchased two set of tickets. One was for 718.95 two was for 467.50 PLUS at $300.00 delivery fee. As I backed out of the sight, the real theater webpage popped up and I realized I purchased with a scammer at triple the price. I called Chase Visa fraud immediately and they advised that i was plum out of luck in that the fine print mentioned that tickets could not be refunded. Well that’s okay if I was dealing with the actual theater but they were Not representative of the theater at all. I’ve spoken with the Van Wezel theater agents and they know about this problem but seem helpless to squelch it. The state of Florida has made it very easy for charlatans to thrive for it does not have consumer grace period of three days after a purchase all such purchases may be returned or cancelled. I had called the Chase Visa folk immediately when I discovered my mistake. There must be something we consumer can do to weasel out of fake Van Wezel tickets. Help!
