Was contacted "allegedly" by a cousin of my wife (Baptist Preacher) who asked if I had heard about the Government Grants that were available to individuals in need. I followed through with the contact process "he" advised and through FB Messenger was connected to the scammer. He sent me the introductory "sales pitch" and all along I was also "messaged" supposedly from my wife's cousin encouraging me to follow through. I went so far as to provide some basic contact and personal information but did not provide any important details like account numbers or SSN's. I received the attached "letters" today and have not followed through with any more contacts. I am continuing to be sent messages asking me to proceed with the process through "chatting online" with FB Messenger.
