A man called my 90-year old mother, who is on the Do Not Call registry, and told her he could give her something that would take away all her aches and pains. Somehow he talked her into giving him her cc info, even though she is an intelligent woman and has never done this in the past. He later called back and said he could upgrade her product and membership for $500. When she hesitated, he told her this product worked wonders for his dad, who had all the same medical issues, and he gave her his direct phone number for any help or questions in the future. The number is invalid. My sister called the number on my mom's Caller ID and said she wanted to cancel the order, and the man said he would break her knuckles if she did.
