My grandparents received a call that my younger brother was in jail. The man over the phone basically acted like my brother and said he got into a car wreck with a pregnant woman and broke his nose. The guy over the phone told my grandmother that he passed the breathalyzer test but was still in jail. He said he needed $9,000 to get out. He then proceeded to give them the name of an attorney under the name of Thomas Keyes with the phone number: 201-350-3941. The guy over the phone then tried to proceed my grandparents to not tell anyone because he was embarrassed. My grandfather did call the attorney's phone number, the attorney tried to get him to turn over money via mail or to drive over to some address to deliver the money, but my grandfather can not drive. My grandfather then asked what jail is my grandson in, they could not tell him, they said they would let him know. My grandparents luckily did not give over any money, instead they called us, and we were able to track down my brother at home.
