I am a general contractor and was referred to the scammer by a fellow business partner because due to being in need of a HVAC/Plumber. I do have a typed contract between the scammer and myself. The scammer did complete the installation on the home being serviced, however the scammer installed used equipment and not the equipment stated in the contract. An independent inspector realized that the units were used and that serial numbers were scratched off. I reached out to the scammer and initially he stated he would rectify the situation and owned up to putting in used equipment due to him mismanaging and running out of funds. I never received a call back and have attempted to call and text, unfortunately I have not received a call back in two months.
