I wanted to protect myself so when I saw an ad for a discounted cat tree instead of clicking it I noted the website and went to it myself. I ordered the tree, paid and got a confirmation email. Several days later the bank notified me that a second charge was made by the same account. They couldn’t stop it until it went through in case it was a mistake. I emailed customer service from the website as well as replying to the confirmation email on my order but got no response.

The bank is investigating and temporarily gave me back the $30 until they determine what they will do. I had to cancel my card and change all my information. The bank did not file the chargeback for the original purchase because I did make it and as of January 11, 2023 I have no gotten any shipping information on my order placed December 24. A third email was sent but also has not been answered.
