My experience is very similar to the others. I received a voicemail stating that they were taking some action against me, they had sent paperwork to me and I had not responded, and if I didn't call back that there would be more fees and penalties. Very threatening. They said it was "urgent". The number came up as "potential scam". The person that left the message left her name, but never a name of where she was calling from. I hid my caller ID with *69 and called the number. There person that answered said "JDM" when they answered. I hung up and googled "JDM Collector Scam" and found a few people that have had the same issues. I once received a call like this before and I was so scared. I called a debt attorney and told them what had happened and the paralegal said that they get calls like mine very often. She said what these low lives do is pay for our credit info and then try to steal from us by using old debt and acting as though they are representing that company, when in fact they are representing their own selfish needs. It's awful and I hope this will help someone not get stolen from. The best bet is if you can get them to tell you who the creditor is, tell them that you will call them directly and find out who they are using as their collector. Then you know for sure that everything is on the up and up.

This afternoon I received a call from JDM Asset Management or JDM Law Office from California. The lady was very aggressive, her name was Natalie Wilson. When I tried asking questions about this company and website. I tried googling more information but nothing came up with them and I told her that. She gave me a website (thejdmcorp.com) which just published in 2019. She said they were debt collector and they mailed me paperwork 45 days ago and never got a response from me. I asked where they mailed it to, in the beginning gave me one old address then changed it to 3 other addresses then added another old address to the group. I was confused and asked more questions, but she kept on getting more aggressive with me and said I was being rude. She gave me an incorrect birthday and couldn’t give me a straight answer on my current address. She said she was going to garnish my wages, bank account and my taxes by next week. I freaked out and called the company I had this old account with and they said my account was paid in full.
I’m still confused because she said JDM Asset Management but when I called she answered saying JDM Law Office. I asked what’s the name of the company but she got even more aggressive and said I’m not being cooperative.

I received a call from this company, stating that they were going to start a class or civil action lawsuit against me for a breach of contract with supposedly a college I signed to back in 2015. I never did that. I stated to the person (whose name was Natalie) that first, I wasn’t going to verify my identity because I told her I didn’t know who she was. That was before she even stated the name of the company she was calling from, or the reason for the call. She was extremely rude and insistent on stating threats of a court action. I finally agreed to tell her the last four numbers of my SSN, for her to give me the information. I also told her that she had the wrong person. But she rudely insisted that I was the owner of that debt. She stated that she had all my personal information (which she clearly did not). She gave me a wrong birthday, and a wrong driver’s license number. She did so reciting numbers at a very fast pace, so it was impossible for me to follow what she was saying. I repeatedly told her that she was wrong. I have a bachelors and a masters degree in psychology and I still owe those universities, which I’m paying still for those students loans, with the federal loans (which it will be the only one I would ever ask for a loan for any Studies). Furthermore, nothing appears on my credit report, because I never did that. If this money was owed to this “college” since 2015, why they have not tried to collect that debt before? Why are they asking these people and this company to harass honest and decent people with these false allegations?

She also stated that I should have received paperwork in the mail, which I did not. I read the other claims to this company, and I see that they sound suspiciously similar to mine. This company The JDM Corporation is fraudulent, and supports fraud, identity theft, and is illegally harassing United States citizens. They should be the ones brought to court.
