They called me and told me that I had been sele red as a winner of one of 3 prizes; a 40" television, a 7days and nights vacation, or a brand new F-150 truck(or $25,000 cash in leau of the truck). I was to make an appointment to come to watch a presentation by the company supplying the prizes with no obligations to buy anything for 90 minutes, after which I would be given a scratch-off ticket and whatever prize was revealed on the ticket would 've the prize I was awarded 100% guaranteed winner. I did some research on the company (The Preview Center) and it turns out that news channel 5 had already done a SCAM ALERT segment on how thia company had taken out a mortgage loan of $15,000 in an unlucky couple's name unbeknownst to them and the vacation prize that they had won required so many fees and taxes that it was rendered useless. I have recieved multiple phone calls from different numbers originating from Florida and Tennessee asking for an email address and name and other personal information to which I refused. Scammers! I hate them. I'm stringing them along as much as I can so hopefully they will concentrate their efforts on the lost cause of my file in hopes that they can be shut down before some other poor couple becomes their next victim.
