The event was cancelled per the email received on Monday, July 12, 2017. In the body of that email is a statement that “if you would like a refund please email us & in the subject line type refund. Please allow 2-3 weeks for a full refund.” I emailed them back the same day, per their instructions and stated that I would like a full refund. And I emailed again on July 25, 2017 and I just emailed once again yesterday.

They have not responded and I have not received my refund as of today, September 26, 2017. I have 2 friends who had also signed up for the event, neither has received a refund or any response from the merchant.

The Ultimate Wine Run in Missoula advertised a wine run that was supposed to happen in July. Right before the event they notified participants that the run had been canceled because of a double booking and would be rescheduled for September. There was no more communication and the email for the even has been deleted. No one from the event coordinators will communicate and it appears as if they took all the participants money and ran.

The offered running event for West palm beach location, it has been cancelled twice. No refunds no response to emails. Negative reviews are deleted quickly on social media.

I and four friends registered for the Ultimate Wine Run in KC scheduled for October 8, 2016. We paid $92.33 to be VIP registrants for the fun run that supposedly donates to Achieving My Dreams Foundation. http://achievingmydreamsfoundation.org/ I have confirmation numbers of my order and my bank was charged by Active.com.

On October 6, 2016 (two days prior to run) I received this email from Active.com (the platform used to register and take payment.) stating that the race was cancelled and we would be refunded in 2 weeks. On Nov. 1 I had not received a refund and sent and email inquiring for information regarding the status of my refund. No response. On November 16, I received an email through Active.com stating the race was postponed not cancelled. When I follow the links to the KC race the page is blank with only a registration button. I tried calling the number listed in the BBB for owner and it rings busy. I need to know who to contact to take this complaint further. I want my refund. This is a scam.

This company and CEO Aaron Scott set up runs then cancel them and keep the fees.

This is a 5k that was supposed to be fun for thousands of people, but it has been reported that several other cities had cancelations or moved dates without notifying the customers. They issued an email of apology and said a refund would take 2 weeks.. that was on October 6th. It is now November 7th and myself and several of my friends have yet to receive a refund.

Advertised for Ultimate wine run at Lake Erie Speedway. Registered for event, event then cancelled without any notice from company, only know about cancellation by word of mouth. Paid with Credit Card.

Signed up and paid for the ultimate wine run. Event was cancelled and unable to get a refund. I was billed for this 5k and now the company is refusing to refund the money. This has happened to numerous people in the past as well.

This was a rain or shine event that my friend and I bought tickets for AND booked a hotel for a night. According to the venues page, this event has been cancelled. We were not issued refunds.

The Ultimate Wine Run took a license fee from a local charity in Denver " Urban Conscious Living in the amount of $5000. The Charity secured a location and started promoting the event to raise money for after school programs for kids. Aaron Scott's College friend, Don Phifer, convinced the non profit to let him help with marketing. He set up a Groupon in the Charity's name and pocketed all the money, then Aaron Scott terminated the non-profit's agreement and did not refund the money. He and Don Phifer are now holding their own race in Watkins on July 30th with all of the Groupon customers who originally thought they were purchasing the tickets to support the Charity. Sometimes crime really does pay .
