They hijacked one of my friends facebook account & used messenger to contact me (pretending they were her). They say I am on a list for receiving grant money and ask for personal information, including access to email and Facebook account. They send a list stating if you give $400 you get $25,000.00, if you give $600.00 you get $50,000.00 and so on. Since they message you from a trusted friend, that makes you think it could be real until you come back to reality and know that if government issues any grant they wouldn't ask for payment, nor would they contact you through messenger. I am a college grad and almost fell for it. Please beware if this happens to you & be sure to alert the friend that someone has hijacked their account.
