Person 1 impersonated my uncle amazingly and told me about a grant he received to payoff bills. He referred me to person 2 impersonating an attorney who had me complete an application and pick my grant amount up to $50,000 for a fee for packaging and delivery. Fake uncle kept telling me how he went through all these crazy hoops but how great having the money was. The fee was $1,500 for $35,000. They wanted me to buy 3 Nordstrom gift cards for $500 each. I went and got them. They for photos of cars with activation codes. I sent...in the morning I heard back and was told my cashiers check would be delivered at 2pm. At 12:45 I got a meeting that there was a problem and more money (gift cards were needed). I got angry but played along and told them I didn’t have anymore money. My Uncle said he would pay $200 of it. I trie to get him to send it to my by PayPal but he said he would go get the gift cards. I told him to take photos and send to me when he got them. Hours later he contacted me and asked if I got the cards and only send me the activation codes. No photos. At that point I reported to sheriff and Facebook Messenger.
