Received an email from the Geek Squad stating my requested 5 year renewal of $804.99 was being deducted from my account and if it were in error that I needed to call a number for a refund. Called the number and they wanted access to my computer to remove the software and give me a credit. Needless to say it was an error and they tried to tell me they accidently deposited $15000 in my business account and asked me to view the mistake and when I did, it showed $15000 deposited into my account, they asked me to go to bank and withdraw the money to send back to them. Then I knew it was a scam. They asked me not to sign back into my bank account until I withdrew the money and then I called my bank immediately and was informed there was no deposit made into the account by mistake. They were really good at making me see it thou. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! scam phone number given were 478-324-5848, sounded like a real call center.
