Just like everybody else ordered flowers and they never arrived and of course blamed the third party for their failures. Received nothing but scripted response and still waiting for a refund. What a truly crappy company

I ordered a plant array gene that for a funeral service on the 10th to be delivered the day of the service. When I didn’t get confirmation of delivery on Shop, I sent an email to customer service. I received a automated generated email saying someone would get back to me.
Nope! Nothing! I sent two more emails requesting a phone number to customer service! Nothing Nada!
I filed a fraudulent report w my credit card and provided everything. I explained to the credit card company that rest assured Flowers Directory would blame the florist etc. approximately 2 hrs later, I received an update from Shop that a partial shipment was sent...WTF! I ordered ONE thing and it wasn’t delivered.
I got the exact plant arrangement for 30$ less and guaranteed delivery tomorrow from 1-800-Flowers
What an [censored] thing to do...the arrangement was for my friends mother funeral!

We are an order / gatherer and facilitate orders for florists that may not have the best online presence. Unfortunately there are scenarios like yours where the florist confirms they receive the order and then at the last minute sometimes the day of they refuse the order.

Only thing that was remotely close to the truth is customer order you gather their money and Shopify facilitates the theft

Their site seems very legit and not sketchy. But after I put in an order for flowers and they did not show up on the day requested I did some research and while there were minimal findings since the company started in February 2021, what I found were other people saying this company is a fraud and do not order from them. Avoid them at all cost.

I am from the The Flowers Directory support team. I apologize in advance about your experience. I would feel the same way. To give you a sense of who we are, we are an order / gatherer for florists in our network. This means we facilitate orders and submit them to a florist that accepts the order. Unfortunately, we are at the whim of a florist if they choose to reject an order even when the order was accepted by them in the first place. It then looks bad on us rather than the florist. We are new in this space and are learning as we go. We just launched in February and are doing our best to overcome any hiccups to make this a customer focused site.

What we are learning and we wish we were told in advance is that Florists can be very particular and we are doing our best to work with Florists that are responsive and treat our customers the way that we would like them to be treated.

I ordered from this company even though I was not familiar with them because they offered delivery on the day I needed. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered the next day and recieved a confirmation email. When the order was not delivered I tried contacting them via their message service and again by email. I have reached out several times with no response at all, and it has been four days since the delivery was supposed to be made. I think it might be a fake website.
