Lost 1000 on puglovers.com. it was listed on breeders website. Then linked me to virgin pet transport to ask me for 1500 to 3500 more. Just very sad I did not do research. If u use credit card u can get ur money back. Report the scam.

Puppy purchase. I was looking for a toy Pomeranian puppy and searched online for all different breeders and reached many via facebook, email, messager, and WhatsApp. Finally I picked "https://teacuppomlovers.webnode.com/available-puppies/". Since they responded email in prompt manner and a lot detailed information regarding the puppy's health guarantee, shipping service, and paperwork. After letting the person know more about my background, this so called "Alfred Martins" person emailed me invoice with detailed contact and payment info. I made payment of $900 for a 3 months Pom male puppy. *****, they use adorable pics to make us weak. Once the payment was made, "Alfred" told me that I will get an email from the shipping agency with details. The shipping agency is "Virgin Pets Transport". There is a PDF document indicated that I need to pay for option 1 of $3600 or option 2 of $2500 for different crates due to COVID19 and winter temperature. It marked reg flag to me because of additional payment required. I texted to "Alfred" at phone number 1-867-322-0931 which is the one we were communicating on to let him know I won't pay the deposit and want to cancel the deal. Alfred responded to ensure me that I will see the puppy tomorrow without worrying about anything. I already feel this is a scam, and kept all our communication email and text messages. Also reported to Police for the case. I also called the bank to retract the e-transfer. However the bank is not able to do so. I would love to share this with future buyer who wants puppy do not fall for the same scam. Remember: 1. do not send money by e-transfer, at least use a bank account number. 2. ask for a video call with the owner to see the puppy and request for specifics to interact with the puppy.
