I received an email from Emily Floyd (it is not her, as I verified on LinkedIn) describing what seemed to be a legitimate remote job that pays $35 an hour. There was no over the phone interview, only an online form with interview questions over the RingCentral app. Then I was asked to do a "task" which entailed that I describe an administrative mistake that I have made in the past. They then said they were going to send a $100 bonus for that, plus a startup check the next day which was to be emailed. I found the real hiring manager on LinkedIn and she confirmed that this job is a scam, and the Corvallis Clinic is aware. The email address is sent via LemonTreehotels.com Please do not give these people any of your information.
