Promised opportunity to meet with some of their areas top business owners over the course of the day. Originally tried to charge $3,000, but managed to get $1,500 on 7/1/16. When asked for a refund, they refused full one but said they would refund $500. Received on 7/14/16. On October 12th they called to say they were unable to complete their end of the bargain and asked how we would like to get reimbursed, so we said to refund credit card. They have yet to do that 3 weeks later and now cannot be reached by phone or email. They owe use $1,000!

The company in question had us pay $3400 as a sole sponsor for an event that they would market and promote as well as assuring at least 75+ attendees and enough business to support a return on our investment in a relatively short period of time, or they would refund our money. It was planned and cancelled due to their own circumstances 3 times over a 6 month period of time. At that point, we requested a refund. They agreed to send it and it dragged on for months. We still have not received anything. We are in CA so we can't drive to them in NY. We believe it is a scam or at best very poor business ethics if not illegal or some fraud involved. Please advise. Thank you.
