On 12-15-17 I received a call around 2p.m. est coming from a private number, he said his name was Michael and he said the company name, he might have said Brace, but I couldn't understand it, because he had an accent (I think it was Asian). He said that he was in the position to ask me if I had back pain or knee pain, because he had a brace that they would send to me through Medicare. Then he said, I need your Medicare card number (which is the same as my social security number). I didn't realize it at the time. After he hung up I thought that is my social security number, and that is when I called the BBB. He asked my height and weight so they could fit me for the brace. He also asked for my eye color. He said within 5 or 6 days I would receive, and I would get a call today from a doctor that I was eligible for a knee brace and back brace. I told him I don't always answer, because I can tell whose calling me, can you tell me what time the doctor will call or give me the number he'll be calling from and he didn't give me either. Then he did say, how about I'll have him call you around 2pm. Then this morning around 11:50a.m., the next call I had she came out and said, I told her I don't want a duplicate of the braces, because someone called me yesterday and got this same information, and she said it was a rep of her's and that they lost my Medicare information. She didn't give me her name, she just called herself a supervisor. She was calling from 651-271-1372 Westminster, CA said on my caller ID. I was trying to stall for time, and I didn't want to give her my number, and I asked if she could give me a number for my friends who would want braces, and she said she could not give that because she was on a computer or something like that. She is supposed to call back tomorrow around 12pm on 2-17-17, but I will not give her my card number. They did not ask what dr.'s name was. told him it was arthritis in my back and the dr. said to just deal with it or get a brace.
