The scam started when a girl from the dating website Adult Friend Finder messaged me. We started chatting and things seemed to progress normally. At one point when setting up a date she mentions that she uses a protection site that helps verify people for her safety. The site mentions that only cost 59 dollars and that it'll clear you. After you give the 59 dollars the girl will go on to say you have to give a 600 dollar deposit. Which they say they'll give you back after the visit.

You go to make the deposit but their in-house payment processing feature is down and they talk you into using Paypal. When you use paypal if you use the pay for services option they will refund you the money and say it's not working. They will do it a couple times and then tell you to do it Via send payment to friends and family. Which I found out Paypal does not protect you against in case of fraud. After you make the payment they then say that it's not enough and that you can't see the girl you were supposed to see. If the paypal option doesn't work the way they want it to they will try and get you to wire the money via western union. Which functions in a similar way as the paypal friends and family.
