This company offers you a reward for taking a survey. You are asked to pay a small amount for shipping the prize. The company then proceeds to charge you $85.87 without your knowledge or consent. My bank contacted me and asked if I knew about the charges and when I said no they declined the payment. I have since written to the email address and requested a refund of my shipping charges and recieved no reply. I called the company and they stated since the shipping charges were a sweepstakes entry it could not be refunded. I informed them that since the money was for shipping I am entitled to a refund and told them to withdraw my name from the sweepstakes. The $85.87 was supposed to be for a subscription which I neither knew about nor requested. I was told I could either have my subscription cancelled or the shipping charges refunded. Since my bank will not allow these charges to proceed without my consent I have asked for my shipping charges to be refunded. My subscription was cancelled by a young lady who hung up on me when I called. A supervisor is supposed to call me but I am not holding my breath waiting on this call. The bank stated that I can dispute this small amount if the company refuses to refund it. My card number has been compromised so I will be receiving a new one and my old one was immediately cancelled.
