I visited the website http://www.terrypoodles.us/available-puppies/ and supplied my e-mail address asking for additional information about a puppy I saw on their Website. I received a text message shortly after from 720-522-4961 saying they e-mailed me photos. I found the number curious as they said they were located in Dayton OH, but the phone number was from Colorado. We e-mailed several times that evening and were reluctant to CALL me to discuss details; they wanted to communicate via e-mail only (red flag). I requested the dog two weeks from this day and was willing to provide a deposit. They wanted me to send $200 via MoneyGram or Western Union. They provided this information for the transfer: NAME: Kevin Gibson, CITY: Dayton, OH, ZIP CODE: 43004 The next day after reviewing the payment terms on their Website, saw they accepted All Major Credit Cards. I reached out to them stating I preferred that method of payment however; they kept saying they could only accept Western Union. During our e-mail exchanges (where I expressed some skepticism about this transaction), I noticed their e-mail address had changed. The initial e-mails were going to [email protected]. After confronting them about the payment, the e-mails were coming from [email protected]. With the help of some co-workers we did some research and saw the scam reports. Needless to say I was very disappointed but very relieved no money was sent. I hope something will be done to remove this website so no one else is taken advantage of.

We found a website that sell poodles. We contacted them about one dog that we liked. They sent us a questioner about what type of environment we have and if we ever had dogs before. We got all the details in order and he sent us where to send the money. I said I am only sending half and we get the dog I will send the rest. The time came for the dog to arrive but it didn’t. My husband then gets another email saying we now need to pay another 600 for transport insurance. That is when I was convinced that it was a scam. The seller stopped responding to our calls and texts.
