I was contacted by a man named Manuel who texted about my resume and said a hiring manager by the name of Teresa Munayco Roggero was going to contact me via Zoom for an interview. After filling out many interview questions, she asked me to stay on hold while she sent my information over to her supervisors for further review. After about 30 minutes, she contacted me again asking if I wanted to accept the job offer and of course, I said yes. She was supposed to email me a W-4 and I-9 form the next morning, but she didn't and never answered my previous questions. Finally she answered, outlining the job and that the company pays for the equipment needed to do the job. She also noted I would be sent a check that needed to be deposited into my bank account and once it cleared, I could then purchase the equipment needed from a place they approve. I was just online reading the entire new hire packet sent to me and everything seemed to be legit. I just decided to come to this website and see if they are legitimate and this posting about the scam is the same thing I am experiencing right now. I have not yet been sent a check, but I am supposed to report to her on Monday morning at 8 am via zoom. I will not be reporting or turning in the paperwork I signed.
