I was contacted by email for a person saying they are from Teradata Corp and they hired me to work online for the corporation. I had to invite him through Google hangouts. He said his name was Bruce Tedis and he was the hiring manager. He took me through an interview process one nite and the next day told me I was hired. He then sent me a check to purchase materials needed for training and orientation. He said it must be put my account through the ATM machine for "accounting purposes". This had me worrying so took it to my bank and they informed me the check was no good. This is the email given to me; [email protected]. I went to Teradata's site and tried to contact someone who would be able to check the validity of this person but I got no answer from the phone or from the report I put in through the "contact us" site. I wanted to let everybody know just in case they actually put that check in there bank through the ATM machine.
