i've been putting in dozens of applications with telus international for the past few weeks and i'm being denied to work on any of the projects i've been applying to. i've worked with telus as an independent contractor a few times for 2-3 years each time i've worked with them and have never had any issues with the company until recently. my last contract with them ended around june of 2023, which was a social media evaluator position. i also worked as a rater and ads evaluator at different points in time which means i'm very familiar with the company and have always had a good rapport for a long time. but now i'm continuously being denied every position i've applied for for the last few months even though i'm more than qualified to work on any of the projects that are available and there are always plenty of jobs available in my region which is the USA. I shouldn't be having any issues being able to work on at least one of the projects available, especially because i've worked with the company many times before and always received great reports from the company on my outstanding contributions to the projects i've worked on. i need to know why i'm being denied so much, i have a family to support and take care of and i'm not being treated fairly at all.

received an email from a person claiming to be Preston Mctyer ([email protected]) who said I needed to download Microsoft Teams and add a Tanya Rose ([email protected]).

I contacted my bank and they said depositing the check sounds like a scam.

I am becoming leery of this because you and Preston are really pushing me to go forward before I check with my bank. If you can't wait until I am done taking care of my mothers estate then just cancel your check.

How to make the deposit.

1.Print out Both the front and back of the check on a regular paper, Cut it out. Sign at the back of the check.

2.Login to your Bank's Mobile app.

3.Click on deposit check

4.Take a picture of the front and back of the check making sure all edges of the check appear on the picture.

5.Submit.

6.Once done (Deposited), You are to have the Confirmation of Deposit/Deposit Receipt (Screen Shot) emailed back to me for further review and documentation with the accounting dept (Office use). Thank You!

NOTE: Use the restrictive endorsement as indicated below:

You're to write " For Mobile Deposit Only"

And your Signature.

NOTE: You are required to manage the funds has instructed by your employer/hiring manager and also get back to me via email with the following information:

1. How the funds were used.

2. Exact amount used

3. All receipts for everything purchased.

I was told through email that I would have 2 weeks of paid training and the 3rd week would be the first full week of work. They stated they mail the needed equipment from a laptop, desk, cabinet, security items for internet etc. The 2nd or 3rd day of suppose to be training, the person stated my training was going so well they didn't want to delay me in learning and working for the company, so they were emailing me a check and I had to go print it and deposit it in my mobile account. I did, after asking my sister have she heard of anything like this. The next day and everyday they kept asking if the check cleared. I had communicated with the bank that I think it's a scam because they kept asking about the check and they told me if cleared on their end but my end wasn't clear. The bank said they were going to investigate it. When I told the company they left my account in the negative and my kids got nothing for Christmas, that immediately stop responding. I wasted my time doing a week of training which I felt the training task was weird. My kids received nothing for Christmas and my account is in the negative.
