We called the number on the screen - Teknicians, Inc. worked remotely on our computer and required us to pay a fee of $199.99 for a year of coverage.
We realized later that we were scammed. We had to hire our own computer expert to remove all traces of Teknicians, Inc. from our computer.
I spoke with Teknicians, Inc., today, and despite the supervisor's first comment that refunds were only possible within 15 days, and the fact that our "purchase" was less than 15 days ago, supervisor concluded that we were not entitled to a refund because we had effectively signed on online agreement/contract with them.
