The company hacked the laptop and made a pop-up appear to call a number to get the laptop issue resolved. At the completion of the call, the company spokesperson advised to send a check to their address in Las Vegas, NV. FedEx arrived the next morning and the check was sent overnight. The check was cancelled so it cannot be cashed, but the company spokesperson does have the address and account information.
